bagdafish A morning without a chill to the air and a heavy fog? No way...and in October?! Fished Turtle Pond near Concord on October 5 - didn't realize that this 'lil body of water held so many nice-size gills and crappie. After a few hours of constant action, I was thinking that maybe I should have kept these for the frying pan. Not sure how they would taste coming out of this weedy hole. Did catch a nice early a.m. bass and of course, a toothy critter as well.
