Out On Metacomet Lake

I went out during early May for about 6 hours one day and just pulled in bass after bass using worms and rubber frogs. I caught them all in about 1.5 to 2 feet of water right on the edge.

  • Bait Details: I just used pumpkin seed green worms here all day and got tons of hits.
  • Location Details: very shallow, some weeds during the early spring. completely filled with weeds by middle of summer.

  • Bait Details: Rubber Frogs with swim legs, lots of noise and action of the top of the water
  • Location Details: This place was great for frogs, some weeds with a lot of open space. This was the first time I ever used frogs and they were just getting destroyed. A hit on almost every cast.
