Review: I Went out by canoe and caught several smallmouths all around the edges. I hooked a giant bass in the middle on the way back in, but it jumped, threw the hook and didn't make it into the boat.

I've fished it before from the shore and had no luck; The trout were there, but weren't interested in what I was offering. The locals come out on opening day and catch their limit of stockies as soon as they're dumped in, but there's still plenty left for the season.
