Success Pond Description
The best fishing is early in the season, just after ice-out in early May, and the best spots to fish are around the inlets of brooks and along the drop offs. Fishing remains fairly good throughout the year, and improves in the fall when the water cools. Success Pond is surrounded by wooded hills, with a few camps along the shoreline. There is a public launch on the southwest hills, with a few camps along the shoreline. There is a public launch on the southwest shore. Average ice-out date is May 1.
