I dont know much about fishing, I take my two young kids down the street to a little pond to catch sunfish. Lately we have been catching a lot of bass and catfish. Today my 6 year old pulled up a catfish with a bright red tail. I tried to take a picture, but the fish was not on the hook all the way and it fell off on the ground and then wiggled into the water before I could get a picture. This fish was at least 30" long and had a bright red tail. Does this sound like a native fish to southern NH?
