Deering Reservoir is a 323-acre (1.3 km2) water body located in Hillsborough County in southern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Deering. The lake serves as the headwaters to the Piscataquog River, which flows east to the Merrimack River in Manchester.

Deering Reservoir, as the name implies, is an artificial body of water located between the towns of Hillsboro and South Weare in the town of Deering about 1 mile off of Rt. 149. The shoreline is wooded and undeveloped; the bottom is gravel and rock. The reservoir has an excellent reputation for ice-fishing. There is also good Smallmouth Bass fishing in the warmer months. There are 2 launch sites here. One state owned and one town owned, but both are difficult to use because of their construction and location. Average ice-out can be expected the 3rd week of April.
