The Beaver Brook originates from Beaver Lake in Derry, NH. and continues south through the towns of Derry, Windham and Pelham NH where it crosses the NH/MA state border into Dracut and continues into Lowell MA where it dumps into the Merrimack River! The Brook consists of many species in it's lower reaches from the Merrimack River to the first dam along the brook in Dracut MA. After the dam however, the amount of species present in the brook dwindles as most species can not continue upstream. In the NH sections of the Beaver Brook there are species such as Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, Pumpkinseed, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Chain Pickerel and 2 species that are stocked by both NH fish and game and Mass wildlife, Rainbow and Brook Trout!
